Before entering the financial services industry, he spent five years as a mental health practitioner, helping individuals and families navigate complex personal challenges. That experience shaped his passion for guiding others through important life decisions and continues to influence the way he serves clients today.

Following several career-changing conversations with one of his mentors, his grandfather — a 60+ year veteran of the financial services industry — he decided to leave healthcare behind and start a new career as an agent for Jefferson Pilot Financial in 2000. With early successes, Greg joined the Pilot Financial management team as Sales Manager, leading recruiting, onboarding, and training new agents.

Now, as a Partner and the firm’s Director of Sales and Marketing, he focuses on building and maintaining productive relationships with Pilot's independent advisors, helping them refine and advance their practice.

He and his wife, Amanda, his high school sweetheart, live in Greensboro with their daughter. Much of their fall is spent traveling to cheer her on as she plays collegiate volleyball, while spring and summer are reserved for family adventures. In his spare time, Greg is an avid mountain biker.
