Chris Roney

As Pilot Financial’s Director of Field Development, Chris Roney works directly with financial advisors nationwide, using his unique ability to motivate them and help their businesses grow and thrive. His securities advisory background allows him to address compliance issues from the representative’s point of view. As OSJ Manager, Chris has supervisory responsibilities for all Registered Representatives and affiliated individuals associated with Pilot Financial.
A former New Hampshire police officer, Chris began his financial career in banking and worked in property and casualty insurance at Peerless Insurance in New Hampshire. He joined Jefferson Pilot as a Compliance Manager in 1999 and grew his operation from 10 Registered Representatives to 70. In 2011, he merged his practice with Pilot Financial, and in 2021, Pilot Financial merged with RD Financial Services.
Chris has an associate's degree in management and a bachelor's degree in financial management from Franklin Pierce College. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.
