Chris Roney

As Pilot Financial’s Director of Field Development, Chris Roney works directly with financial advisors nationwide and uses his unique ability to motivate and help advisors’ businesses grow and thrive. His experience as a securities advisor enables him to help solve compliance issues from the representative’s perspective. As OSJ, Chris has supervisory responsibilities for all Registered Representatives and affiliated individuals associated with Pilot Financial.
A former New Hampshire Police Officer, Chris began his financial career in banking. After earning his degrees, he worked in the property and casualty insurance field at Peerless Insurance in New Hampshire. Chris joined Jefferson Pilot as a Compliance Manager in 1999. Chris grew his operation from 10 Registered Representatives to 70, and in 2011, he merged his practice with Pilot Financial, then in 2021, merged with RD Financial Services.
Chris has an associate's degree in management and a bachelor's degree in financial management from Franklin Pierce College. He holds FINRA series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.
