Mitzi Vernon has not only witnessed major changes in the financial services industry over the last 30 years, she has embraced those changes and led others in adapting to them.
Mitzi started her career in 1984 as assistant to the newly-appointed sales manager of the Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Company – Roger Seigler. As Roger's go-to person she followed him through the company's many transitions – from The Piedmont Agency to Lincoln Financial to today's Pilot Financial.
Today, those experiences and skills are used in connecting to agents and their staff as the firm's Customer Relations Manager.
Armed with a deep knowledge of Lincoln's people and processes, Mitzi helps navigate cases through new business and underwriting while working with agents' product and case design questions. Her talents assist in enhancing the customer experience from conception of the sale to product delivery.
Mitzi holds an Associate, Insurance Agency Administration designation; Associate, Customer Service designation, and has completed the Fundamentals of Life and Health Insurance curriculum with the Life Management Institute.
A native of North Carolina and an avid Duke fan, Mitzi enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, along with performing in local theatre and musical productions.
